Fearless by Max Lucado

_140_245_Book_72_coverMax tackled a topic that every person who walks the earth encounters daily. Fear. In this author’s style he makes us laugh at ourselves and consider why we hold fear as close as a companion. He also considers the value of living a fearless life. He does this in the light of Scripture. Quoting examples from the Bible and holding it up as the “true north” of life. Every chapter is different as he writes about the many types of fear, including the fear of God.

Max discusses examples from his own life and true examples from the lives of others. Sometimes though his stories or examples become too long and involved with the potential of losing their point and the reader.

Although marketed like a self help book- “….. Envision a day, just one day, where you could trust more and fear less. Can you imagine your life without fear?”- it reads like a drama or series of short stories all connected by this powerful theme.

Fearless includes a scripture-based discussion guide for those who would like to use it for their small group.
