The Noticer by Andy Andrews

When you need a little Perspective

As a relationship coach and wedding officiant, I am always considering how couples can grow after the wedding. Reading is a great way to share an experience together. I have just finished a book by Andy Andrews called the Noticer.

I would highly recommend this book to couples for deeper thought and discussion.  The main character is called Jones. His perspective on life has merit no matter where you live, what your age or occupation. As people we need to consider how we see others and how we react within this world.

The Noticer is a story written from one of the main character’s point of view. Early in the book his life is incredibly impacted by a man  called Jones whom he unexpectedly meets at night. Amazing transformations take place as he puts into practice the many things Jones talks to him about. Jones calls it giving perspective to situations. I call it morsels of wisdom.

Over and over I found I needed to put my book down and think about some of the things Jones spoke about. Although this is not a long book much wisdom is revealed as Jones’s perspective is shared. Many lives are changed and all feel grateful and indebted to him. The book comes with a simplified self guide in the back for further thought and discussion.

This woud be would be a great book to read aloud with your spouse. Turn off that television and enjoy the experience and adventure that books can bring to your life. Be intentional about growing in your relationship!
